Julie Cridland is a PhD student in the lab working on using paired-end, whole-genome sequencing data to detect structural variation in population samples of Drosophila yakuba and Drosophila simulans.

Ling Shao is the lab manager and senior research associate. Ling has been working on optimizing paired-send library preparation protocols for the Illumina platform, and is generating the libraries for the resequencing of Drosophila yakuba and Drosophila simulans.
